Dalia has served as our Douglas County District Attorney since January, 2021. Prior to being elected as DA, Dalia has spent nearly 15 years prosecuting some of the toughest cases in Metro Atlanta. Dalia has served as our Douglas County District Attorney since January, 2021. Prior to being elected as DA, Dalia has spent nearly 15 years prosecuting some of the toughest cases in Metro Atlanta. She has handled homicides, rapes, and child molestations. In addition, Dalia served as a national attorney advisor for prosecutors, law enforcement and allied professionals regarding sexual violence, domestic violence, and human trafficking prosecutions. Dalia is excited to continue to bring her skills and ideas to protect her family, friends and community in her home of Douglas County.

Dalia has the experience and education to make sure that we integrate smart justice while holding dangerous offenders accountable in our prison syste
Dalia knows what it takes to be an effective prosecutor. Prosecutors have an obligation to keep their community safe by implementing innovative practices and policies that reduce recidivism. Dalia has the experience and education to make sure that we integrate smart justice while holding dangerous offenders accountable in our prison system. Additionally, Dalia knows how important it is for the DA's office to be an integral part of the juvenile justice system to truly keep our community safe.
Since being in office, Dalia and the team have started numerous programs to keep our community safe:
